Card Limits Overview
Benefits of SpaceLabs Platinum limits
SpaceLabs Platinum provides significantly higher limits than typical crypto debit cards:
- Daily spend: up to $50,000
- Single transaction: up to $25,000
- Monthly spend: up to $400,000
- Lifetime limit: $1,000,000
ATM withdrawals are expected to be enabled in Q1 2026. They fall under the same daily spending cap. (Individual ATM operators or regional regulations may impose lower per-withdrawal limits and additional fees.)
Account Setup & Subscription
What is the annual subscription fee?
The annual subscription fee for the Platinum Tier is $99, charged at account activation and then once per year.
Your subscription includes:
- Account activation
- Full identity verification
- One (1) virtual card included
- 12 months of virtual card monthly fees at no extra cost

Top-Ups & Loading
What is the fee for loading crypto?
A 3% top-up fee applies when crypto is deposited into your SpaceLabs wallets to be converted into USD.
Card Creation & Monthly Card Fees
What does it cost to create additional cards?
- Virtual card: $2.99
- Plastic physical card: $19.90
- Metal physical card: $69.90 (available soon & included in the upcoming Exclusive Tier)
Are there monthly card fees?
- Virtual card: $0.99/month per active card
- Physical card: $2.99/month per active card
Your yearly Platinum Tier subscription already includes one virtual card for 12 months, with its monthly fees waived.
Transaction & Usage Fees
What is the authorization fee for transactions?
- US Domestic: $0.25 + 0.25%
- International: $0.80 per transaction
What is the Apple Pay authorization fee?
- Apple Pay transactions incur a 0.20% authorization fee.
What are the ATM withdrawal fees?
- 2.25% per withdrawal
- Minimum fee: $2
- ATM withdrawals are expected to be enabled in Q1 2026.
What is the transaction reversal fee?
- A $1 reversal fee applies to all reversal transactions where the original transaction amount exceeds $5.
What is the FX or cross-border fee?
A 2.50% fee applies when:
- The transaction is processed in a foreign currency, or
- The transaction is cross-border (issuer and acquirer are in different countries)
- This is standard across international card payments.
Is there a refund fee?
- Yes — a 2% refund fee applies to each refunded transaction.
Declines, Disputes & Compliance Fees
Are there fees for declined transactions?
A declined transaction occurs when a payment fails due to cardholder-related issues (insufficient balance or limits, inactive card, etc.).
Decline fees are determined by your overall decline rate:
- $0.30 per decline if your decline rate is between 20% and 50%
- $0.60 per decline if your decline rate is 50% or higher
What is the dispute (chargeback) fee?
A $35 fee applies per disputed transaction.
This fee covers the administrative process of handling chargebacks and fraud-related disputes.
